  1. Create an idiom or give a new meaning to an existing one. Explain its meaning and relevance, or lack thereof.
  2. Write a six-word story containing the word “salt.” (Here’s a funny one not containing salt in any way: “Trembling, they moved Lovecraft to nonfiction.”)
  3. Refute or find a possible loophole in the Grandfather paradox.
  4. Write a favorable review of your least favorite book.
  5. If you had the chance to see the entire past and future of one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why? Yourself included.
